If we do not provide the body with the proper nutrients, we will not function as well as we can. Therefore, the proper nutrition is absolutely necessary if we are to restore and maintain health and well being. As a result of either ignorance, lack of resources or bad choices made, most of us are suffering from poor nutrition, leading to disastrous consequences of chronic diseases- heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, adult onset diabetes, etc. These are all lifestyle related chronic diseases plaguing the United States and the world at large.
